Xcaret Park in Cancun and the Riviera Maya was recognized, according to the opinion of major travel agents in the United States, as the Best International Theme Park and the Best Water Park outside the U.S during the presentation of the emblematic Travvy Awards 2016, which took place last night in New York City.
For the category of Best International Theme Park, Xcaret reached the final phase along with Disneyland Tokyo and Universal Studios Japan. In the category of Best Water Park Overall, Xcaret shared the final phase with Blue Diamonds Resorts and Dolphin Discovery.
The awards were received by Rodrigo Motavelasco Loera, Business Development Manager of Experiencias Xcaret. For Xcaret Park, celebrating 25 years of life in 2016, this achievement is highly satisfactory because it reflects the consistency of its efforts to be the most important experience in the destination for all segments of the market which visit it annually.
The 2016 Travvy Awards, presented by TravAlliancemedia, recognize the highest standards of excellence in tourism, according to evaluation made by professionals in the industry, particularly from the United States.
