In 2018 Grupo Experiencias Xcaret will invest almost 705 million pesos in the improvement of its tourist offerings in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, and will announce for the winter season the opening of a new adventure park, which will complement the offerings that the group already has in that growing market niche, reported Vice President Carlos Constandse Madrazo.
While keeping the details reserved of the new park, Carlos Constandse said it will be a new attraction for Cancun, recognized as the number one tourist destination in Mexico.
In addition, among the novelties announced by Experiencias Xcaret for 2018, there is a new attraction in its Xplor adventure park. “Soon they will know the details of both projects, but they are totally different and will allow us to offer diversified options to visitors who arrive at the destination,” said Constandse.
At the time of launch, Experiencias Xcaret will combine seven theme parks (Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco and its new park), the Xenotes tour, as well as Xichén, a division of luxury tours to the archeological sites of the region. The group is recognized as the most important organization in Mexico dedicated to sustainable tourism recreation. In addition, it is already the number one in the world that operates the All-Fun Inclusive concept, which includes all-inclusive lodging at the Hotel Xcaret México, and visits to all the attractions of the group, included in the purchase of your stay.
Experiencias Xcaret closed 2017 with an influx of 3 million 333 thousand visitors to its parks and tours, representing a growth of over 9 percent over the previous year. Carlos Constandse assured that in 2018 they expect an influx of 3.5 million visitors, which would mark a new record for the organization. We are very satisfied with the achievements, said Carlos Constandse, who assured that investments in the improvement of facilities and attractions of the parks and tours in 2017 totaled 518 million pesos.
