According to the information provided by the authorities, Hurricane Beryl is located in the center of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. Based on its evolution and current trajectory, it is forecasted to impact Quintana Roo on the night of Thursday, July 4th, about 75 kilometers south of Playa del Carmen.
In order to safeguard the integrity of our visitors and staff, we have taken the following measures in our Parks, Tours, and Ferry services:
- July 3rd: All our parks and tours will operate as usual, except for our catamaran tours to Isla Mujeres. Our ferries on the Playa del Carmen – Cozumel route will operate until 5:30 PM, and the Cozumel – Playa del Carmen route until 6:30 PM. The Cancun – Isla Mujeres – Cancun route will operate regularly.
- July 4th: Xel-Há, Xenses Insomnia, Xoximilco, Xplor Fuego, Yalkú parks, and the Xichen tour, as well as the ferries to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel, will suspend operations. Xcaret, Xenses, Xplor, and Xavage parks may operate with limitations depending on the prevailing weather conditions. The Xcaret México Espectacular show will not be presented on this day.
- July 5th: Operations for all our Parks, Tours, and Ferry services will be completely suspended.
- July 6th: Based on the current information, we estimate the gradual resumption of our operations, starting with the opening of Xcaret Park, Xenses Insomnia, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco, and the Xenotes Tour. Operations, including the presentation of Xcaret México Espectacular, will be subject to total or partial operation based on the evaluation of Beryl’s impact, for which timely information will be provided.
- July 7th: It is estimated that the operation of all our parks, tours, catamarans, and ferries will resume according to official schedules.
We will update information related to our operations according to the progress of this disturbance and the information from the authorities.
At Grupo Xcaret, following our primary value of “safety above all,” we have the appropriate protocols to address this type of contingency.
We want to emphasize that we are in constant communication with our guests and visitors to address any necessary actions given the current situation.
