Xplor Bravest Race, the best obstacle and pursuit race in Mexico which takes place in natural settings of the Riviera Maya, will host its 2016 version with a unique concept, “Volcano La isla”, in environments that recreate fire, eruption and lava.
In strategic alliance with the television program “La Isla”, this new concept will take full advantage of natural locations at Xplor Park, such as caves, underground rivers and cenotes, to complete scenarios that impose great challenges to participants.
At Volcano La Isla, the jungle will become the biggest obstacle for the adventurers, who must run, climb, jump, crawl and swim to reach the goal. Human obstacles, known as Running Lava, will block the runners’ way along the paths. The runners should do everything they can to avoid them and prove that they are true Brave Runners.
For the 2016 Edition, Xplor Bravest Race will have a capacity for 3,500 runners that may participate in the individual category, team category or VIP. They will run a distance of five kilometers to overcome 30 obstacles, feeling all the adrenaline in this extreme experience.
Xplor Bravest Race Volcano La Isla will take place on Sunday, September 18th, starting at 8:00 am. There will be 14 waves of 250 runners each.
Registration fee will be $980 MXN per competitor or per team competitor, and $1,480 for VIP (includes breakfast, official T-shirt and photo package), but those who register in June will receive a 40% discount; 30% in July and 20% discount in August.
